“ To put it short, for such a touristy place as Lajares is, this restaurant feels very authentic. The food was good and additional props for having the half and full portions. It’s quite popular so expect to have to wait for your table. Once you order it’s pretty fast. The food felt homemade and the desserts are good too so keep your portions smaller to be able to get one. The service was excellent and it felt like this place is ran by women and they rock it. ”
“ It's a restaurant that is older than many of its customers. Family traditions, family recipes, the interior which is functional, traditional and not fussy. The goat stew is sooo good. Full of flavour, meat just falls apart, even potatoes taste amazing! We also had fried fish, which was just ok, a plate of mixed salad - fresh and crunchy, and mixed croquettes which are worth a try. Service was brilliant, wine choice perfect. Definitely recommend the place if you are in Lajares! ”
